All You Can Eat Sushi, Abbey Road and Pints

12 dumplings, 5 miso soups, 6 octopus balls, 2 egg fried rices, 2 edamames, noodles, pumpkin stuff, 10 spring rolls, 3 servings of salmon sashimi, 2 orders of calamari, 10 spicy salmon rolls, 10 salmon avocado rolls, 9 fried salmon rolls, 2 fried tuna rolls, 1 cucumber roll…all equalling 209 pieces of sushi split between 6 people. Savages.
I'm not kidding when I say today was one of my favorite days in London. The best group of people who were always positive and down to do whatever, despite the rainy London weather.
We each paid £15 for all you can eat sushi at Sushi Cafe and we went IN. Being the first ones there, we were a little sketched out at how great this deal actually was but by the end of our meal, there were no open tables anywhere in the restaurant. We even found a little garden shop while waiting for the bus…amazing!
We then took two buses to Abbey Road. The name of The Beatles album. The road where The Beatles world famous photo was taken. The location where it's nearly impossible for cars to get through thanks for tourists like us. Let me tell you, we were there for a whole hour taking as many pictures as we could get, and that's not all that happened. We even got to witness a proposal! The man told Tommy to take pictures of them and then at the end told him he was going to propose. So sweet. Everyone was cheering.
What I loved most about the people I was with today is that no one complained and we all mentioned several times how great of a day we were having. After about 5 hours of sushi eating and picture taking you think everyone would want to go home but someone mentioned we go grab a pint at a pub to end the day. Everyone was down.
We went to Gloucester Arms, the pub right around the corner from where we live. Everything about today was perfect. 3 rounds of unlimited sushi, legendary photos and great drinks. Days like this make me never want to leave. Now, time to sleep for 3 hours then get ready for my 6am flight to Berlin, Germany!
